Would you like to work in a lovely, bright professional kitchen, plan menus in advance and be part of an effective team with good working conditions? If so, we are seeking to recruit:
Cook – 18 hours a week.
Salary: £13.65 per hour (£13.79 per hour at weekends)
18 hours per week including alternate weekends work and Bank Holidays
Example hours:
Week 1: Friday/Saturday/Sunday – 8 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Week 2: Wednesday/Thursday/Friday – 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
For the right team members, we may be able to consider appropriate flexibility in working hours.
We provide accommodation and support services for retired members of the Clergy and beneficiaries of the Church of England Pension scheme and as part of this support there is provision for a daily lunch.

Your duties will include:
· Preparing and cooking nutritious, home-style meals
· Serving lunch to residents our
· Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
· Accurate record keeping
· Cleaning and general kitchen duties after meal service
You will work as part of a supportive team to ensure the kitchen is safely and appropriately staffed, which may occasionally involve flexible or altered shifts to cover leave or sickness.
