We are looking for enthusiastic, fun and confident team members. At Fudge Kitchen we offer the very best customer service as well as creating the highest quality fudge. Our retail teams members will learn to do both...but it starts with the right attitude.
Whilst a background in customer service is helpful, the right outlook is far more important. This is also an opportunity to perform. Fudge Kitchen is Retail Theatre and all new team members will be taught to demonstrate traditional Fudge Making techniques live to customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service. Make an impression!
- Assist customers with product enquiries, recommendations, and purchases
- Maintain the organisation and visual merchandising of the store to ensure an appealing shopping environment
- Upsell products where appropriate to maximise sales opportunities
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system while adhering to phone etiquette standards
- Manage stock levels through regular inventory checks and organise stock displays efficiently
- Support with store cleanliness and organisation to uphold health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding stock needs or customer feedback
- Demonstrate organisational skills by prioritising tasks during busy periods and managing time effectively
Qualifications
- Fluency in English essential. You will be engaging customers and performing live fudge making demonstrations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management
- Good time management abilities to ensure tasks are completed efficiently during shifts
- Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person
- Experience or interest in merchandising, upselling, or retail sales is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- A basic working understanding of Social Media platforms such as Instagram.
Pay: £12.71-£14.26 per hour
