Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waitress/Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and take their orders efficiently and accurately
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, providing correct change when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables, bar, and surrounding spaces
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while promoting special offers or new products
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations at all times
- Assist with food preparation or bar tending duties as required, supporting team members during busy periods
- Provide attentive guest services by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests
- Support the organisation of events or special functions as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided for motivated individuals
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
- Familiarity with upselling techniques and guest service principles will be beneficial
- Ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills in a busy environment
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is a plus but not mandatory
