We are actively expanding our team and looking for motivated Support Workers who can manage property visits, support sessions, and tenant engagement.

Role Overview
This is a key frontline role involving:
Property visits
Tenant support & wellbeing
Reporting maintenance/safety issues
Completing support plans & weekly sessions
Ensuring properties meet required standards
Helping tenants settle, stay safe, and maintain their accommodation
You will work both on site (properties) and in office days for paperwork, support notes, and follow-ups.

Core Responsibilities
Property Visits (Multiple Times Weekly)
Meet tenants, build rapport, assess wellbeing
Identify risks, Behavior issues, safeguarding concerns
Inspect cleaning, maintenance, and compliance
Submit forms immediately after each visit
Report all issues via the systems and subgroups
Paperwork & Support
Weekly support sessions (audit-ready standard)
Quarterly support plan updates
Proof of residency
Housing Benefit calls
New signup paperwork within 24 hours of move-in
Tenant Engagement
Follow up with missing tenants
Handle complaints and support requests
Notify tenants of upcoming inspections
Encourage good behaviour & community harmony
Safety, Reporting & Compliance
Report leaks, hazards, failures, ASB, safeguarding
Ensure tenants follow house rules
Check fire doors, damp/mould, heating, appliances
Check rooms for safety and property standards

Requirements
Must be confident speaking to tenants
Must be reliable, organised and proactive
Must be able to handle challenging behaviour calmly
Experience in support, housing or care preferred but NOT essential
Must be able to travel around Birmingham - (Own Driving License and Car)
Must be comfortable with paperwork (training provided)
Must attend daily meeting
