Trafford Council is recruiting an Apprentice to join the Exchequer Services team, supporting the delivery of key financial processes within Debt Recovery, the team collect Corporate Debt and Adult Social Care Debt.
The role involves processing transactions, handling sensitive data in line with legislation, and liaising with internal departments and external organisations. This opportunity is suited to motivated individuals eager to learn and develop their skills while working towards relevant qualifications.
The successful candidate will benefit from structured training, hands-on experience, and support from colleagues across Exchequer Services.
We are looking for someone who is keen to start their career and develop new skills. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and eager to learn, with good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
You will be organised with strong communication skills and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A commitment to completing your apprenticeship and achieving relevant qualifications is essential, along with a positive attitude and a willingness to take responsibility for your own development.

The service operates a hybrid working pattern between home and the office. Staff are expected to attend the office on average 1-2 days a week, though during training and mentoring this will be full time.
