Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Locum Physiotherapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to provide high-quality patient care. Experience in a hospital setting, particularly with MSK patients, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Utilise various therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance recovery and improve mobility.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-management strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in physiotherapy.
Experience
- Previous experience is preferred, particularly in MSK related.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional patient care with a focus on empathy and support.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
