About The Role:
Title: Shunt Supervisor
Location: First Bus Aberdeen
Pay: £16:10
Shift: 4 nights on 2 nights off - 16:30pm to 01:30am
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Parking Driver Supervisor, who will work at our client’s prestigious site.
Duties as a Shunt Supervisor
- Monitoring the run-in area from entrance to fuel bay
- Monitoring staffing levels and identifying issues
- Monitoring holiday requests and adjusting daily rota to ensure required staff numbers are met
- Reporting on defect buses and completing lists provided at beginning of shift
- Collecting vehicles from fuelling bay, driving through wash and parking in designated areas
- Adhering to procedures when leaving parked vehicles such as checking that master switch is off and all windows and doors are closed
- Maintaining and completing accurate data and ensuring the full fleet is fuelled etc every shift
Job Role Requirements as a Shunt Supervisor
- Full UK Driving license essential
- PCV licence
- Comfortable working alone and in a team
- Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload
- To fully understand and comply with all company and statutory relating to hours of work, health & safety, and working practices, abide by all company working policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience in similar environment at Supervisory/Duty Management level
- Good written and verbal skills
- Able to communicate effectively.
- Self-starter and pro-active
- Flexible and adaptable- with working hours
- Full Clean Driving licence
- PCV licence
- Computer skills required (Excel/Word/Outlook)
- Physically Fit due to lay out of the depot
