We're recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a large-scale poultry processing site in Lincolnshire - part of a wider European food group supplying major retail and foodservice customers. High output, continuous operation, and a shift team that's expected to keep things moving when equipment decides otherwise.
This isn't a role for someone who prefers their faults neatly queued and pre-diagnosed. You'll be on shift, close to the action, working across production and packaging equipment where the pace is real and the technical variety is genuine.
What the role involves:
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding and breakdown response across production and packaging lines
- Working on single and three-phase systems in a live manufacturing environment
- Planned preventative maintenance via SAP
- Supporting OEE improvements and repeat failure reduction
- Safe isolation and LO/TO procedures as standard
What you'll need:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong fault-finding background in an industrial or FMCG environment - electrical bias preferred
- PLC diagnostic experience - you don't need to be a programmer, but you need to know your way around
- Familiarity with motors, drives, sensors and control systems
- SAP or CMMS experience is useful, not essential
