Part-Time Accommodation Cleaner
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy Part-Time Cleaner to join our small team. Our work mainly involves cleaning accommodation used by workers, including weekly linen and towel changes, deep maintenance cleans, and ensuring properties are presented to a high standard.
This is a physically demanding role that would suit someone who enjoys being active, works efficiently, and doesn't mind hard work. Previous cleaning experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.
The role will initially be around 2 days per week, with the potential for additional hours for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain worker accommodation properties to a high standard.
- Change bed linen and towels on a weekly basis.
- Carry out maintenance cleans and prepare properties for incoming occupants.
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitise all areas as required.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly.
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and correctly.
- Work efficiently to complete all tasks within scheduled timeframes.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
- Physically fit and comfortable with a demanding, active role.
- Flexible with working hours, as jobs are usually carried out during school hours but can occasionally run later.
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not required, as full training will be given.
