Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and faults.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and replacements.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and time taken for each task.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Assist in diagnosing complex mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment.
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ability to diagnose issues accurately and suggest appropriate solutions.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle mechanics are preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £15.00-£19.00 per hour
