Overview
We are seeking a hard-working, highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, providing support to staff and management, and maintaining an organised workspace. Previous office experience and strong computer skills are highly valued for this position. Duties
- Manage the directors' email inboxes, keeping things organised and on top of priorities
- Handle customer service across messages, emails and calls with a friendly, professional touch
- Support the team with picking and packing orders
- Keep daily reporting trackers accurate and up to date
- Support with social media management
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Manage stock levels and carry out regular stock counts
- Book meetings and manage the directors' calendars
- Organise and maintain files, records and documentation
- Perform accurate data entry using Google Workspace & Microsoft Office and our internal system (full training provided)
- Handle mail distribution and manage office supplies to keep stock levels topped up
- Provide general administrative support to team members and management as needed
Skills
- Strong organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong typing skills to facilitate accurate data entry and document preparation.
- Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
- A calm, can-do attitude and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus: previous admin, customer service or e-commerce/office experience
