Zest Education is proud to be supporting a variety of excellent primary schools in the local area. We are looking for multiple teaching assistants to support pupils from Early Years (Reception) to KS1 & KS2.
Whether you’re an experienced teaching assistant or someone with strong transferable skills and a genuine passion for working with neurodiverse young people, we would love to hear from you.
What the role involves
- Supporting pupils with Autism (ASC) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) and other SEND within a mainstream setting
- Providing tailored support based on your experience and strengths
- Assisting with learning activities, emotional regulation and social development
- Collaborating with teachers and therapists to create a positive, structured learning environment
What we’re looking for
- Experience in relevant settings OR transferable skills (care, youth work, psychology, sports coaching, etc.)
- Ideal for Psychology graduates looking for a relevant field
- A patient, resilient and compassionate approach
- A desire to build long‑term relationships – we have temp‑to‑perm roles available
