Forklift Driver | Coventry
The rewards:
- £12.83 per hour
- Temporary to permanent contract
- Weekly pay
Hours:
- 6:00am – 2:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Flexibility required for rotation to 2:00pm – 10:00pm during busy periods
The role of Forklift Driver:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving stock within the warehouse and production areas
- Picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch
- Booking goods in and out using internal systems
- Supplying materials to production lines as required
- Conducting stock checks and maintaining accurate records
- Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe
- Following all health and safety regulations at all times
The ideal Forklift Driver:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB/ITSSAR or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of stock control processes
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment desirable
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP) desirable
- Additional forklift licences (Reach, Bendi, etc.) desirable
