Hire Frequencies Ltd is looking for a Warehouse & Systems Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations while developing and managing our inventory and internal systems.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining warehouse management, stock control strategy, and IT/system oversight. You will work closely with our Production, Technical and Warehouse teams to ensure equipment is tracked accurately, warehouse processes run efficiently, and our internal systems remain secure and effective.
This role is ideal for someone with AV rental, production, or technical warehouse experience who also enjoys improving systems and processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & Inventory Management
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including equipment prep, returns and maintenance
- Maintain accurate inventory records within Current RMS
- Implement structured schedules for stock checks, testing, inspection and quarantine
- Ensure all new equipment is properly packaged, flight-cased and logged with correct accessories
- Manage and develop barcode systems for full equipment traceability
- Monitor damaged equipment and coordinate repairs with production teams
Stock Control & Purchasing Strategy
- Develop and maintain rolling stock check schedules
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
- Analyse equipment utilisation and revenue data
- Support purchasing decisions to maximise equipment ROI
- Reduce reliance on sub-hire through strategic stock planning
Systems & IT Oversight
- Manage company devices including laptops, iPads and mobile devices
- Implement cyber security best practices and device management processes
- Improve internal workflows through better use of systems and technology
- Act as the main contact for IT troubleshooting and system improvements
Team Leadership
- Supervise warehouse staff and promote best practice
- Train team members on Current RMS, barcode processes and stock handling
- Work closely with Production and Technical Managers to ensure project readiness
- Promote a culture of organisation, accountability and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience supervising a warehouse in AV, production, rental or technical environments
- Strong knowledge of Current RMS or similar rental management systems
- Experience managing inventory systems and barcode tracking
- Understanding of testing, inspection and equipment maintenance processes
- Good knowledge of IT systems and cyber security basics
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
Desirable
- Experience improving systems or implementing new processes
- Knowledge of AV equipment and live event production workflows
- Experience analysing equipment utilisation and ROI
- Microsoft 365 administration or device management experience
