We are building a new school-led supply bank for a partnership of local academy trust schools across Birmingham, Solihull, Dudley and the Black Country. We are now clearing teachers and support staff for September supply work, including day-to-day, short-term, long-term, and potential permanent opportunities. The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to work in primary and secondary schools in Birmigham.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons
- Work with small groups or individual pupils
- Assist pupils with additional learning needs (including SEN where required)
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Provide flexible support across different year groups and settings
This is a flexible role, offering day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements to suit your availability.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential with relevant experience)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and confidence in new environments
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
