Vehicle Technician / Mechanic – Immediate Start Available
Urban Autocare is looking for an experienced and reliable Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our growing team.
We are seeking a skilled mechanic who can work independently, diagnose faults efficiently and carry out repairs to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults on a wide range of vehicles.
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and general vehicle repairs.
- Install, remove and repair vehicle components.
- Carry out complex repairs including timing chain replacements, timing belt replacements, engine replacements and major mechanical work.
- Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify faults.
- Complete work to manufacturer and company standards.
- Ensure all jobs are completed safely, accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Essential Requirements
- Must own your own tools.
- Proven experience working as a vehicle technician/mechanic.
- Experience carrying out timing chain replacements, engine replacements and major mechanical repairs.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Positive, professional and reliable attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining high standards.
