Responsibilities
- Process purchase invoices and match them to delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Assist the team with general administrative tasks
- Assist with sales ledger activities, including raising invoices and chasing outstanding payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support month-end activities such as journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and update internal systems.
- Deal with supplier and customer queries in a professional manner.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in an accounts or administrative role (preferred but not essential).
- A willingness to learn and develop within a finance role
- Strong numerical ability and excellent attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic finance software would be helpful.
- Strong communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
