Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality LIVE-IN CARER to individuals in their own home settings. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of those in their care. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring safety at all times
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, respecting dietary requirements
- Administer medication as per care plans and document accordingly
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow individualised care plans to meet specific needs and preferences
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Drive clients to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safe transportation
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with organisational policies
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement them effectively
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving the transportation of clients
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and team members

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
