Duties
- Assist with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Support residents with their care plans, ensuring individual needs are met effectively
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Monitor and record health observations, reporting any concerns to senior staff promptly
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with medication administration
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in caring for others
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary
