Wilco Motor Spares Ltd, East Anglia’s leading independent car parts, bike and accessories retailer, is looking for an Acting Assistant Branch Manager to join our friendly team at our Cambridge branch.

The Role
As Acting Assistant Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the branch, supporting the team and helping drive business performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day branch operations
- Leading, motivating and developing the branch team
- Driving sales performance and customer service standards
- Stock control and supplier liaison
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
- Working closely with the Area Managers and Directors to improve sales margins.
- Cashing up, answering phones and other administrative tasks associated with this position.
The Ideal candidate
- Has a genuine interest in cars, bikes and e-bikes
- Has previous experience in the motor trade (preferred)
- Has previous experience with bikes and e-bikes (preferred)
- Demonstrates strong leadership and people management skills
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Has a hands-on, positive attitude
- Can work independently as well as part of the wider management team
- Holds a full UK driving licence

Working hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
- Saturday working required (rota applies)
