The Opportunity
Are you a skilled, proactive administrator who wants your daily work to contribute towards changing lives?
Konnect Communities are a not-for-profit organisation empowering people affected by the criminal justice system—whether actively involved, at risk, or impacted in other ways—as well as those who are victims or survivors of abuse. We are committed to helping individuals move forward with dignity, rebuild their lives, and help create safer communities for all.
We are looking for a motivated Administrator to become the heart of our work. Working closely with our Business Operations Manager and Volunteer Coordinator, you will keep our digital systems, volunteer tracking, and community events running seamlessly.
Why Work For Us?
· Home-Working Flexibility: Work comfortably from home, with all the necessary IT equipment provided. We focus on your output, not your clock-in time, so life's daily demands can be accommodated.
- 38 Days of Annual Leave: Enjoy 26 days of annual leave (pro rata), plus all 8 bank holidays, your birthday off, and 3 additional fully paid days off for our Christmas closure.
- Funded External Supervision: Your mental health matters. We fund regular external supervision, giving you a confidential, safe space with an independent professional to process the nature of our work.
- Access to Training: From day one, we will map out your professional development to expand your skill set.
- Team Wellbeing Days: Working remotely doesn't mean working alone. We regularly bring the team together for dedicated, wellbeing days to connect, relax, and recharge.
- A Supportive Team: We are a compassionate, closely connected group of people who genuinely look out for one another.
A Day in the Life of Our Project Administrator
Working from home, your day-to-day will involve:
- Supporting Volunteers: Assisting our Volunteer Coordinator with recruitment, tracking milestones, training coordination, and monitoring engagement.
- Event Planning: Helping to plan and organise community wellbeing days and project celebration events.
· Data & Reporting: Supporting our Business Operations Manager with project monitoring, data evaluation, and reporting.
· Project Operations: Handling daily essentials like ordering supplies, managing staff and volunteer expenses, and contributing to marketing and publicity activities.
What You Bring to the Team
We care deeply about your values, empathy, and organisational skills. We are looking for an independent worker who has:
- Proven experience working as an Administrator with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a calm, non-judgmental, and empathetic manner.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to switch tasks confidently and meet deadlines consistently.
- High respect for confidentiality and data security, given the sensitive nature of our work.
- Experience in a community/voluntary sector setting or an admin qualification is a bonus, but absolutely not essential.
Our Commitment to Inclusion
- Konnect actively promotes equality of opportunity for all and welcomes applications from a wide range of candidates.
- Konnect recognises the contribution that people with criminal records can make as employees and volunteers and welcome applications from those with a criminal record.
- We select all candidates for interview based on their skills, qualifications and experience.
