Technician (Full Time)
We are looking for an experienced and motivated vehicle technician/MOT Tester to join our team at Pro-Tec Performance, we are a long established (35 years) independent garage with a good solid customer base, we work as a team together in a comfortable environment, you are not an employee number you are an important part of what makes the business tick.
NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT OF A MINIMUM 3 YEARS WORKING AS A MECHANIC.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
Have at least 3 years experience in the workshop in the role of a Vehicle Mechanic.
Hold a full UK driving licence
MOT tester would be an advantage but training can be provided if not yet qualified
Work well as part of a team
Be punctual, enthusiastic, and customer-focused
Be good at identyfing and diagnosing engine faults and using plug in diagnostic equipment. We expect the Candidate to be fully experienced in the replacement of cam belts/timing chains/clutches etc. In general a good all rounder, some experience of electrics and welding would be an advantage.
A working knowledge or interest in Performance cars as well as everyday commuter cars would be a real bonus.
