About The Job
We are looking for Asset Stock Condition Surveyors to carry out property surveys across our housing portfolio, providing accurate and up to date asset data to support investment planning, compliance and safety. This role is to ensure our housing assets are safe, compliant, sustainable and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities
· Inspect homes and communal areas to assess condition and remaining life of key components.
· Ensure properties meet Decent Homes, Building Safety and HHSRS standards.
· Complete EPCs and identify energy efficiency improvements.
· Highlight defects, risks and required remedial works.
· Provide cost estimates and technical input to planned and capital programmes.
· Work with tenants, contractors and internal teams to support access and delivery.
What We Are Looking for From You
You will have experience carrying out housing stock condition surveys and a good understanding of building safety, Decent Homes and HHSRS standards. You will be able to identify defects, assess the condition of properties, and work effectively with tenants, contractors and internal teams.

Application question(s):
- Do you have a degree or diploma (HNC or HND) in a built environment discipline (e.g. Building Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Housing Studies)?
- Can you demonstrate good knowledge of Building Regulations, Disabled Access and adaptations, Fire Safety, Building Safety and Compliance, Construction Design and Management (CDM), and Health & Safety legislation?
- Do you have strong knowledge of housing construction methods and common defects?
