Completing your Level 3 Apprenticeship with The Old School House Day Nursery couldn’t be easier! We have a fantastic management team to help and support you through your modules during the course, as well as in house training from our highly experienced and skilled management team.

We located near the lovely Village of Walmley, just outside of Sutton Coldfield. Our unique nursery boasts fantastic grounds and facilities for both staff and children. With a ‘One of a Kind’ setting, there isn’t a better place for an employee to start their career in Early Years!
Responsibilities:
- Supporting Room Leaders with the care and support of children in the setting
- Delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Delivering outstanding practice and an outstanding level of care.
- Support and promote the Safeguarding of our children.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Support children in their daily routines, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering positive relationships within the nursery community.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your professional development.
- Manage small groups of children during activities, demonstrating leadership skills and promoting teamwork.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable but not essential.
- A genuine interest in early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
