Are you genuinely enthusiastic about developing your legal skills to the highest standard and are you excited about making a meaningful contribution to some of the UK's leading regeneration projects? If so, we have a great opportunity for a Paralegal to join our growing Public Funding team in Newcastle. Whilst experience in public sector projects would be useful, it is not essential – what is essential is that you're able to work well as part of a team.
The Public Funding team is a newly established unit within Ward Hadaway which forms part of our highly regarded Commercial Department. The team provides specialist legal advice to businesses looking to use grants and other awards of public funding to deliver projects. We also provide advice to public sector organisations, for example Mayoral Strategic Authorities, that are looking to deliver important programmes and fund projects in line with their public law duties.
The team has a national reputation for its expertise in Subsidy Control compliance, and receives many instructions to advise upon grant funding conditions and how best to design interventions.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

-
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
