The Jobs Growth Wales+ (JGW+) programme is a course for young people aged 16-19 in Wales who are looking to kickstart their careers in the world of technology.
This course is designed for those not currently in full-time education, employment, or training, and provides a flexible pathway to develop essential skills, gain knowledge and skills in Technology.
The programme is tailored to individual needs and includes two main pathways:
- Engagement Pathway: Over three days, you’ll receive entry-level IT training, focusing on building foundational skills and confidence. This pathway is perfect for those exploring their career options.
- Advancement Pathway: For those with a specific career in mind, this five-day training option offers Level 1 IT qualifications and hands-on experience in fields like computer programming, cyber security, and digital marketing.
