We're looking for a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team supporting the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in Chester.

As a Security Officer, you'll provide a visible and professional security presence on site while helping to protect people, property and assets.
You'll carry out patrols, respond to incidents, monitor site activity and ensure all Assignment Instructions and site procedures are followed at all times.
This is a varied role where professionalism, communication and attention to detail are essential.
- Previous security experience
- Valid SIA Licence
- SC Clearance desirable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional and approachable attitude
- Ability to stay calm and confident in challenging situations
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail and strong observational skills
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors
- Carrying out routine patrols and security checks
- Responding professionally to incidents and emergencies
- Monitoring and reporting suspicious activity or potential risks
- Completing accurate incident reports and records
- Following all site procedures, Assignment Instructions and compliance standards
- Reporting Health & Safety concerns promptly
- Delivering a professional and customer-focused service at all times
