Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Supervise and support children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and activities
- Organise group activities that encourage teamwork, creativity, and independence
- Manage daily classroom organisation to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Lead by example in demonstrating positive behaviour management techniques
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop programme improvements and share best practices
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Previous management or leadership experience within a childcare environment is desirable
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience in organising activities for young children that support their developmental milestones
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting children or supplies as required

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
