We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children within a nurturing environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Support children’s emotional, social, and physical needs in line with their individual requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues to support their development plans.
- Lead and supervise other staff members, fostering a positive team atmosphere through effective management and leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all safeguarding policies, health & safety regulations, and early years frameworks.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external professionals to promote collaborative care.
- Manage daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and transitions smoothly whilst maintaining a warm environment for children.
Requirements
- Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in childcare.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy environment.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving travel between settings or activities outside the nursery.

Pay: £12.71-£12.90 per hour
