Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, contributing to the overall appearance and safety of our facilities.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Restock cleaning supplies and materials as needed
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and scrubbers effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to meet cleaning requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between sites
- Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
- Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with clients and staff
- Strong communication skills to coordinate tasks efficiently within the team
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Driving Licence preferred but not essential
- DBS Check to be undertaken
- Min age 25 yrs due to insurances for Chemical handling and Key holding
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£14.62 per hour
