Our client is seeking an experienced, professional and highly organised rota nanny/PA to join their warm and busy family, caring for two boys aged 5 and 9 years old. This is a sole charge position working alongside another rota nanny on a 4 days on/4 days off basis, 24/7 whilst on duty.
The family are looking for someone energetic, reliable and happy to muck in where needed, a true team player who can confidently juggle duties in a fast-paced household and become part of the family long-term. The ideal candidate will have both nanny and PA experience, excellent intuition and a proactive attitude.
When travelling, the rota may extend to up to 3 weeks at a time with 1 day off per week, sharing school holidays with the second nanny. Alongside childcare responsibilities, the role will also include ongoing PA duties for the family.
In addition to the 4 days off within the rota schedule, the successful candidate will receive 20 days of paid holiday per year. These holidays should generally be taken when the other nanny is travelling with the family. Occasionally, working days may be swapped with the other nanny by prior arrangement and mutual agreement.
Ideally, you will have previous experience working within a busy private household, excellent checkable references and a proven track record caring for multiple children in sole charge. You should be extremely organised, hands-on and capable of using your initiative without needing direction.
The role will include:
- Planning fun, engaging and educational activities
- Hosting playdates and arranging social activities
- Taking the children to school, classes, birthday parties, playdates and events
- Overseeing homework and supporting educational development
- Providing healthy, nutritious meals for the children
- Proxy parenting when the parents are away
- Maintaining the children’s wardrobes, bedrooms and play areas
- Booking family trips and days out
- Travelling with the family on holidays, including packing and unpacking
- Acting as a PA to the family
- Helping to keep the household running smoothly and efficiently
- Ensuring the children’s wellbeing, happiness and overall development

There is a full time housekeeper employed however, the nanny will be responsible for light cleaning duties, including keeping the children’s bedrooms, play areas and areas of use tidy, clean and organised.
You will be required to sign NDAs and discretion is paramount. Above all, we are seeking a professional candidate with an exemplary portfolio, demonstrable experience working with similarly aged children within a private HNW household and excellent checkable references.
Requirements:
- Must drive (own car preferred but not essential)
- Non-smoker
- Minimum 4 years’ childcare experience
- Previous nanny and PA experience
- Enhanced DBS check required
An ensuite bedroom and private bathroom will be provided whilst on duty.
