We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Nurse to join our friendly team. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
- Providing chair-side support to patients during treatment, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.
- Preparing and maintaining the dental surgery and equipment, ensuring high standards of infection control are maintained at all times.
- Processing dental radiographs and maintaining accurate records of patient care.
- Offering appropriate advice and guidance to patients on oral healthcare.
- Ensuring that all equipment is maintained and cleaned in accordance with practice protocols.
- Contributing to the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements:
- Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Nurse.
- Previous experience working as a Dental Nurse within a dental practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in dental nursing.
