The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Pharmacist to join a dynamic clinical team in Dorset. This role offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced healthcare environment where your expertise in medicines management and clinical decision-making will directly contribute to patient safety and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy services across designated wards or outpatient settings.

Conduct detailed medication reviews and provide pharmaceutical interventions to optimise patient care.

Support safe and effective prescribing practices in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Ensure compliance with GPhC standards, Trust policies, and clinical governance procedures.

Assist with discharge planning and contribute to efficient departmental workflow.

Provide specialist advice on medicines optimisation and high-risk medications.
Experience Required
-
Previous UK hospital pharmacy experience is essential.

Candidates must have either:

Community Pharmacy experience, or
-
Outpatients Pharmacy experience.

Experience working within NHS clinical pharmacy services is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of medicines management and clinical governance.
Essential Requirements

MPharm Degree (or equivalent qualification)

Current GPhC registration

Right to Work in the UK
