Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team for 24hrs per week over 4 days. Working every other weekend. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to enhance the overall appearance of the premises.
- Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate cleaning equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Assist with laundry services.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping within a care home environment is preferred but not essential.
- A background in customer service is advantageous, as interaction with guests may be required.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively are essential for success in this role.
