Cleansing Operatives play a key role in ensuring that the County is a clean and welcoming place for residents, businesses, and visitors to enjoy. They are responsible for removing a wide array of materials from the road network and across the public realm.
The role requires a wide variety of cleansing functions such as litter picking, emptying of litter/dog waste bin, graffiti removal, fly tips removal, household bulky collections,
domestic/commercial bin deliveries and cleaning of public conveniences to assist in the cleansing of public and open spaces as well as loading on front-line refusing collection vehicles as and when required.
Any other duties will be required to support operational requirements as and when they arise.
