Due to our recent expansion we are currently seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals in a supported living residence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting others and possess the necessary skills to deliver high-quality care.
*Responsibilities*
- Assist residents with daily activities and personal care tasks
- Implement care plans and provide support in line with individual needs
- Supervise and engage residents in various activities
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Drive residents to appointments or outings as required
- Demonstrate leadership skills when overseeing tasks within the supported living accomodation.
*Skills*
- Ability to drive and hold a valid UK driver's licence
- Proficiency in IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes
- Strong communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and colleagues
- Experience in supported living residence or similar settings is preferable.
- Knowledge of care plans and their implementation
- Ability to supervise and lead tasks effectively
- Experience of working with individuals with autism and/or learning disabilities.
- Experience of working with individuals with alcohol and/or drug challenges
- Experience of working with individuals with mental health challenges and/or challenging behaviours .
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.00 per hour
