Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Sales Manager to lead and motivate our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Duties
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and optimise merchandising displays
- Oversee daily store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and administrative tasks
- Conduct staff training programmes focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement
- Monitor sales performance through detailed reporting and analyse data to identify areas for improvement
- Manage staffing schedules, organise team meetings, and foster a collaborative work environment
- Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and satisfactorily
- Maintain high standards of phone etiquette and organisational efficiency within the store
Experience
- Proven management experience within a retail environment, with a focus on sales management and team supervision
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff members
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Demonstrable experience in merchandising, stock control, and administrative procedures
- Proficient organisational skills with effective time management capabilities
- Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles is essential; supervising experience is highly valued
- Ability to utilise sales data analysis tools and manage multiple priorities efficiently
