We are seeking enthusiastic and creative Lego and Art Club Supervisors / Instructors to run weekly after-school clubs at a primary school near Bednall, Stafford. These roles give children the opportunity to develop creativity, imagination, confidence, and problem-solving skills through fun, hands-on activities in a safe and supportive environment.
The clubs run weekly during term time, 3:20-4:15pm on Thursdays.
Applicants are welcome to apply to run one club or both.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise small groups of primary-aged children in Lego and/or art activities.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate sessions that encourage creativity, teamwork, and self-expression.
- Support children in developing confidence, fine motor skills, and imaginative thinking through structured but enjoyable activities.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all participants.
- Communicate effectively with school staff and, where appropriate, parents regarding children’s participation and progress.
- Ensure all materials, resources, and activity spaces are safe, organised, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
- Experience working with children in schools, clubs, childcare, or similar settings.
- Ability to engage and motivate young learners in a structured yet fun environment.
- Strong English communication skills for working effectively with children, staff, and parents.
- A background in art, childcare, creative activities, or play-based learning is desirable.
Pay: £30.00 per hour
