Job Description
We are looking for Factory Operatives at our manufacturing facility based at Nether Heage. We manufacture aluminium and plastic extrusions for our own window and door system, as well as for trade customers. You will help load and pack aluminium/plastic profiles and assist as required to ensure we deliver the high level of service our customers expect.

Duties
- Checking against works orders to ensure high standards are met
- Communicating directly with management to quickly resolve issues
- Using our in-house systems to ensure processes are followed correctly
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Other general and reasonable duties as required

Garner Aluminium Extrusions is privately-owned by Roger Hartshorn, a local entrepreneur with a proven track record of creating and growing several major extrusion and window systems companies.
The Group consists of:
Garner Aluminium Extrusions (Garnalex) - formed in 2018 and saw an initial investment of £15m to installing a state-of-the-art aluminium extrusion
· Sheerline - providing a range of innovative aluminium windows and door systems (produced by Garnalex)
· LB Plastics - a trade extrusion and injection moulding business which also manufactures the entire range of plastic components for Sheerline.
We are experiencing unprecedented uptake of our products and services since the launch of the Sheerline, and with our current employee numbers at just over 100 staff based at the manufacturing site at Firs Work in Heage, we have plans to move into new purpose-built facility within the next two to three years.
