Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Caravan Packer/Finisher to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling, finishing, and packing caravans with precision and care to ensure high-quality standards. The successful candidate will play a vital part in the final stages of production, contributing to the delivery of top-quality products to our customers. The candidate needs a keen eye for detail and manual dexterity. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in hands-on manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities / Requirements
1 Check all windows and front door is closed and locked
2 Any snags found are rectified, if unable to do a snagger must be called to do them
3 Van is clean, cornice clean, carpets clean, cupboards free of sawdust
4 All blinds are rolled down or shut. And check they run correctly and are long enough to cover the window.
5 All stickers and ncc paperwork is present and displayed.
6 All robe and locker doors are closed and secured with yellow tape for transport. See drawing no1
7 All loose furniture where possible is secured with string (microwave)
8 A loose items list is completed and attached with yellow tape to a cupboard door in view.
9 A QA sticker is placed in the left hand corner of the left hand front bay window
10 All paper work is removed,QC sheet, snag sheet, copy of loose items
11 All paper work must be put together then handed in at the end of the week.
12 A final check is made to ensure everything is secured
13 The back door is locked and key is screwed underneath back door on the first timber rail
14 A final check must be done on the outside of the van to make sure there are no visible signs of panel damage before the tractor driver takes the van away
Pay: £12.84-£14.00 per hour
