Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. The Cleaning role requires maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming for pupils and staff. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality service, and the ability to communicate effectively with others. Working hours Monday to Friday 3pm - 6pm (39 weeks term time) plus 3 weeks deep cleaning in school holidays. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure, expense to be met by employer. The Supervisor role requires ensuring all cleaning staff are present, and allocating work to cleaning staff where required, monitoring cleaning standards, etc.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms and communal areas.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in good condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established health and safety protocols while performing cleaning duties.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to school requests in a professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in a Cleaning Supervisor role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with site staff.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team and with clients.
- A proactive attitude towards work with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
