We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Mobile Patrol Officer / Security Officer due to continued growth across Scotland. Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned locations using company vehicle or on foot to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security breaches.
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to observe activity and detect suspicious behaviour or security risks.
- Respond swiftly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing appropriate assistance as required.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings to management.
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly.
- Provide first aid when necessary, ensuring immediate assistance is given in case of injuries or medical emergencies.
- Engage with staff and visitors professionally, offering guidance and support as needed to uphold safety standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security or surveillance is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Possession of first aid certification is required.
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physically fit with the ability to patrol large areas on foot or via vehicle.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
