Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled over 18 years old Bartender to join our team at our pub /restaurant.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for serving beverages to customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring customer satisfaction, taking customers orders, taking food out, clearing tables etc
Duties
- serve drinks
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Handle cash transactions accurately
Requirements
- Be Friendly, Smiley, Sociable and welcoming to our Customers, to create a great atmosphere
- Proficiency in bartending techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is advantageous
- Hours will be Tuesday 5pm-11pm, Thursday 5pm-11pm and Saturday 12pm-5pm and possibly Wednesday 5-11pm
Plus there will be more hours available covering sickness and holiday so we need someone who is flexible to help out when needed
