We’re looking for a passionate, reliable Chef / Cook to join our small team and help take our kitchen to the next level.
Based near PL14 3PY, our restaurant currently serves:
- Restaurant open evenings
- A very popular Sunday carvery at lunch times
- Private parties, weddings
We’re now looking to expand further and attract more local diners, so this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact.
About the Role
We need a hands-on chef who can:
- Prepare and cook quality evening meals for hotel guests
- Help develop menus and ideas to grow trade beyond Sundays
- Support our successful Sunday carvery service
- Assist with private functions, parties, and weddings
- Be flexible during quieter periods with:
- Washing up
- Stock checks / ordering support
- Maintaining high kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a kitchen environment
- Passionate about fresh food and good presentation
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
- Flexible and willing to muck in where needed
- Friendly, hardworking, and a team player
Important
A full driving licence and own transport are essential, as our location is not on public transport routes.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £24,420.00-£40,894.62 per year
