Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of food preparation and production in our small but busy kitchen. You will ensure that high-quality dishes are consistently delivered to our customers. Duties:
- Plan and execute menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and customer preferences
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes from our menu, ensuring that they are presented in an appealing manner
- Adhere to proper food preparation techniques and safety procedures in the kitchen
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with management to develop new recipes and menu items
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Ensure that all forms for food hygiene and cleaning regulations are kept up to date
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
Benefits:
- Competitive salary based on experience. Rate may be increased after 3 mths
- Working hours - approx 9 per shift worked over 4 days on a rota basis which would usually include week-ends but additional hours could be available
