Become one of the founding team at YR Golf.
YR Golf is a brand-new hospitality venue opening in the heart of Sidmouth, bringing together exceptional coffee, relaxed Mediterranean-inspired food, cocktails and world-class golf simulators.
Our kitchen has been designed around quality, consistency and simplicity. This isn’t a traditional chef role. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in producing consistently great food while helping build the culture of YR from day one.
At YR, we believe great hospitality starts in the kitchen.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of our kitchen, ensuring every dish leaves to a consistently high standard.
You’ll manage stock, ordering, food preparation, hygiene and organisation while working closely with the front of house team to create a seamless guest experience.
We’re one team. If front of house needs help, we help. If the kitchen needs support, they help us. That’s simply how we work.
You’ll thrive here if you…
- Take genuine pride in your work.
- Stay organised, calm and dependable.
- Lead by example.
- Enjoy working as part of a close team.
- Want to grow with the business.
- Believe every guest experience starts with consistently great food.
Why join YR?
- Salary of £26,000–£28,000, depending on experience.
- Genuine work-life balance, with most weeks around 42–45 hours and a maximum contracted week of 48 hours.
- Formal development and salary reviews every six months.
- Performance bonus opportunities.
- Full training and ongoing development.
- Staff discount.
- A supportive team where everyone helps everyone.
- The opportunity to help shape a brand-new hospitality venue before we even open our doors.
We believe people are our greatest asset.
We don’t expect perfection from day one.
We invest in great people, help them develop and recognise those who go above and beyond.
If you’re proud of your work and want to help build something special from the very beginning, we’d love to hear from you.
