Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable 360 Excavator Driver to join our team. The successful candidate must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket along with an in-date Fit to Work Medical certificate.
The role involves operating heavy plant machinery safely and efficiently on construction and groundwork projects while maintaining high health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 360 excavators safely and competently
- Carry out excavation, grading, trenching, and drainage works
- Perform daily machine inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Follow site health & safety regulations at all times
- Work closely with site supervisors and groundworkers
- Ensure work is completed to project specifications and deadlines
- Report faults, hazards, or incidents immediately
- Assist with other site duties when required
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator Ticket
- In-date Fit to Work Medical
- Proven experience operating 360 excavators on construction sites
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
Desirable Skills
- Experience in groundworks or civil engineering projects
- Lifting Ops endorsement
- Additional plant tickets
- CSCS Card
- First Aid qualification
