We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant Supervisor to join our retail team. This is an
exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual with a proven
background in supervising a beauty counter. The ideal candidate will demonstrate
strong leadership skills, a passion for skincare and makeup, and the ability to inspire
and drive team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the sales team to deliver outstanding customer service and
exceed sales targets
- Provide daily supervision, coaching, and motivation to staff, ensuring a positive
and productive working environment
- Act as a role model in delivering expert product knowledge and makeup
demonstrations
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the counter/store, including rotas, stock
management, and visual merchandising
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely
manner
- Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and presentation
standards
- Collaborate with management to implement promotional activity and new
product launches
- Deliver regular feedback and performance updates to team members and
management
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a supervisor on a beauty counter is essential
- Experience in makeup artistry is desirable
- Strong understanding of retail sales, customer service, and team leadership
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Confident in demonstrating and selling beauty products with expert knowledge
- Able to work under pressure, meet targets, and adapt in a fast-paced retail
environment
- Fully flexible and available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and bank
holidays as required
