RESPONSABILITIES
- Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble upholstery fabrics and materials with precision and care
- Has the ability to independently cut and prepare fabric according to specified patterns and designs or offer assistance in this area
- Inspect completed work for quality, consistency and adherence to safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored
- Work with other members of the production team to meet targets ensuring products are ready on time for customers
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in sewing, particularly within upholstery or furniture manufacturing
- Organizational skills are important, along with attention to detail and high standards
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage own workload
- Familiarity with different types of sewing machines and techniques used in upholstery work
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or patterns, using correct fabrics to manufacture required items
- Attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment
- Experience: 5 years minimum
- Language: English mandatory
