Our company strongly values internal progression, fostering a culture where our team are empowered to grow, develop their skills, and advance their careers. Hear from some of our current staff members who have climbed the career ladder in care:
Meet Olivia Merrifield, Senior Complex Care Case OfficerOlivia joined Amore Complex Care in 2017 as a Clinical Support Worker, beginning her career in care. Her dedication and commitment quickly saw her progress to Team Leader on the package she originally worked on, before becoming a Senior Complex Care Case Officer. One of Olivia's career highlights was supporting a lifelong Everton supporter who won a fan experience day with Everton Football Club. Having worked closely with the client throughout her progression with Amore Complex Care, she witnessed first-hand the impact of seeing his dream come true, as he met then-manager Sean Dyche, members of the team and past Everton legends.Experiences like this are just one of the many rewarding aspects of working in care. As a Support Worker, you could help make moments like these possible, supporting clients to access opportunities, achieve personal goals and create lasting memories.Speaking about her role, Olivia says: " I was 18 at the time of starting, so I was just starting up with my qualifications and trying to gain experience. In my current role, I enjoy that I'm still involved with the staff members, getting to know the clients, seeing the clients weekly, and how welcoming everybody is and how supportive everybody is of each other."
